She is waiting in the air...

It was the beginning of a summer that was as short as a star's twinkle....
and as long as an eternity.

Yukito Kunisaki is on a journey, seeking a girl with wings who flies in the sky, as mentioned in a childhood tale. During this journey, he settles down in a small town, trying to make some money. There, he meets a strange girl named Misuzu. Misuzu quickly makes Yukito her friend and invites him to stay with her. Yukito decides to stay in the small town, and continue searching for the winged girl his mother had searched for in her life. - animefreak

I feel so tired and weak after finishing the anime Air. It was super nice but soooo sad. The last few episodes made me cry so much I was bawling and crying my eyes out. How could a short but nice anime made me cry and sad this much? Whenever I see Yukito and Misuzu together I feel sad. After watching the anime, I proceeded with the movie, but it was still the same - I think I got dehydrated.

I  was hesitant at first to watch Air because I thought it was like one  boy and so many girls  running after him- but not actually. The series  was very sad but it left a very nice feeling in me which I could not  explain. It's one of those anime which you could not really explain why  you love it so much. Air left a big impression in me. Even though I feel  sad whenever I remember what happened in the end and whenever I see  Yukito and Misuzu together, I still love it. I  really love it soooo  much. I am very glad that I got bored and finally decided to watch it.  Words can't really express how I feel about it. Air really touched my  heart. I'm not exaggerating or something because that's the way I  honestly feel.

The ending was very sad, but somehow, the two children walking down hand in hand on the beach at the end made me smile (while crying so much). It was like their love story was redeemed or saved. Because I believe that the two children were the reincarnations of Kanna/Misuzu and Ryuya/Yukito. And also, I think the curse was already lifted or the pain was gone because Sora, the crow, which is also Yukito, flew the happy memories of Misuzu to the girl waiting in the air.

Oh no, just thinking about the end makes me cry. Air is damn good.
