Fairy Tail - world's most outrageous guild!? ♥

Do fairies have tails? Nobody even knows if they exist in the first place.
That's why it's an eternal mystery. An eternal adventure.
That's the meaning behind the name.

A young celestial wizard, Lucy Heartfilia travels to the land of Fiore to join the magical Fairy Tail Guild. Along the way, she meets Natsu Dragneel, a teenage boy looking for a dragon named Igneel, with his best friend, Happy. Shortly after their meeting, Lucy is abducted by Bora of Prominence, who was posing as Salamander of Fairy Tail, to be sold as a slave. Natsu rescues her and reveals that he is the real Salamander and has the skills of a Dragon Slayer. He offers her membership into the guild, which she accepts, and they become a team performing various missions for the Fairy Tail guild. - Wikipedia

Fairy Tail is a manga/anime series from the same author of Rave Master, Hiro Mashima. I just started watching/following the anime series recently... around a week ago. Although I've already heard about this manga before, when it was just about to start (because of rave master), I did not bother reading it. I think I was too lazy to read back then... or it just felt like I wouldn't like it. When the news about the anime came out, I was surprised that it was one of the most anticipated anime series of 2009. Everyone is excited with its release. I did not know that it was quite popular because Rave Master, the author's first manga, was not that popular.

Until around last week, when I was too bored and craving for a new anime series, I decided to give it a try... and I'm glad I did. It was just the first episode and I'm already addicted to it! Although at first, the characters somehow remind me of Rave characters, I learned to like them as Fairy Tail characters and not Rave characters look-a-like. Although it felt nostalgic when I saw Siegrain because he looks like Sieg Hart and I found out that it was actually a form of fan service. I love the characters because they all have different personalities and funny sides although each of them have a sad past. I like the way they treat their friends, and neutralize one another. Also, another thing why I like Fairy Tail is because of the characters being mages and the idea of guilds.

My favorite female character from the series is Erza Scarlet because she is sooo pretty and sooo red. lol. I also like her "re-quip" style of magic. Actually I'm always looking forward for her new armors and weapons every episode.

Although I ike Natsu, I like Gray Fullbuster more. He looks very cool and good-looking. He is also funny when he strips. And I love it when he and Natsu fight, then pretend to be on good terms when Erza looks at them. XD.

Aside from Plue (which I already love ever since Rave Master), I also love Happy sooo much. I love to hear him say "aye!", and he is sooo cute and funny.

I still don't have any plan of reading the manga even though sometimes I'm getting impatient for a new episode since I really like to know what happens next. But if ever the anime series would be cut/end or if it will have filler episodes, because it is already catching up, maybe that would be the time for me to read. I'm really lazy now to read a new title. And I like watching more than reading.
